Madelene is back in California after traveling for a year through Asia & South America as @alexandmadie, and has since opened her side shop @photosurfaces.

Originally from Los Angeles, she is a professional photographer with a background in design, painting, and psychology. She has an MFA in Photography from Academy of Art University, and has worked with established photographers in San Francisco, as well as a growing list of food and tech clients of her own. Her award-winning photography has been recognized by APA and PDN, and has been featured in BBC Travel, The Guardian, SAUVER, and more. Select clients include Box, Chronicle Books, La Cocina, Munchery, Worldreader, etc.
